Business Process Improvements
McJunkin is committed to delivering process improvements and cost savings to our customers. A tool in the delivery of these cost savings is Work Process Analysis and Redesign. The first step in the process specific to the customer's facilities is to conduct a comprehensive site survey. This allows McJunkin to formulate an initial recommendation / strategy that will be incorporated into each model. We take an in-depth look at every function and ask how those activities add value to the process as a whole.
Typical symptoms of an ineffective supply chain:• MRO inventory stock turns < 2.0
• Less than 60% catalog utilization
• Loss of wrench time due to unavailability of material
• Frustration among maintenance and operations employees
• High degree of re-work to resolve GR/IR issues
For examples of our customer successes, please review our Case Studies.
Our corporate network of experts allows us to utilize resources that best fit our customers needs. We have no hidden motives to sell software or technology solutions. McJunkin’s goal is to help our customers leverage the capabilities of their existing systems and those of their MRO suppliers. We will work with our customer’s resources to minimize costs and to provide on-the-job training throughout the project.
